“No cause for emergency…”

So, today I got thinking…The great Henri Cartier-Bresson photographed THE DECISIVE MOMENT, and this concept revolutionised photography back in the early 1900’s. Where to from here? One can photograph the relationships between things etc. and people take countless photos. What can make a good photograph? (something other than myspace fodder by impressionable teenage girls…) I explored the idea of taking photographs before ‘the decisive moment’, but that then misses the moment, thereby losing some of the art in Photography…right? But is the moment before ‘the decisive moment’ still as artistic and aesthetically pure – can it be appealing to anyone else other than the artist? I guess it comes back to subjectivity…

All that said, here’s some more coursework…
